Liverpool to Barcelona falling through, the Spanish giants invested
their fath and £75m to sign the controversial Uruguayan.
While
Suarez's 31 Premier League goals took Liverpool to the verge of a first
title in 24 years last season and saw him crowned both the players' and
writers' player of the year, his explosive temper has landed him in hot
water on a number of occasions.
Having
already arrived to English shores with the nickname the 'Cannibal of
Ajax' when he bit PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal in 2010, he sunk
his teeth into Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic during a Premier
League clash in 2013 - and was given a ten-game ban.
